The renovation of Amahoro Stadium, which began in early 2022 now boasts commercial spaces featuring restaurants and various businesses, enhancing the overall visitor experience.

In addition to the main stadium, which accommodates football, rugby, and athletics, an adjacent building dedicated to sports for people with disabilities was constructed. Furthermore, the small stadium, known as Petit Stade, was upgraded to a higher standard, providing top-notch facilities for indoor sports.

The comprehensive project to expand these sports infrastructures was completed at an investment of nearly 165 million US dollars.

This significant development underscores Rwanda's dedication to creating world-class sports facilities and promoting a thriving sports culture nationwide.
