12 COMMERCIAL PILOTS GRADUATED FOSTERING RWANDA AVIATION INDUSTRY

Honorable Minister of Infrastructure Dr. Jimmy GASORE officiated the graduation of the 12th cadet pilots who have been undertaking the flying course for 2 years at Akagera Aviation Flying Academy.

The 2 years of rigorous training is a milestone which will contribute to the growth of the aviation industry in Rwanda.The graduating class of 2023 equipped the twelve commercial pilots with skills in operating both helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft, and a comprehensive range of airport services.

Among the 12 graduates, two of them specialized in rotary wing and other ten particularized in fixed wing aircraft.

Hon. Minister of Infrastructure Dr. Jimmy congratulated the students who completed their training and urged Akagera Aviation Flying Academy to put much efforts in delivering more young pilots as a drive to empower Rwanda’s aviation sector.

“We commend the team of aviation instructors for providing an exceptional standard of traing that molds our Students into professional aviators” Dr. Gasore.
