Rwanda and UNICEF committed to strengthen partnership towards Water and Sanitation Sector
19 May 2021: Minister of Infrastructure, Hon.Claver Gatete received Ms. Julianna Lindsey, UNICEF Representative in Rwanda. They exchanged on strengthening the existing partnership between the Government of Rwanda and #UNICEF in the development of Water and Sanitation Sector.
Recognizing the existence of clear national policies and implementation strategies for water and sanitation sector, they emphasized on their implementation while increasing and sustaining Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services.
They also discussed operationalization of existing WASH Management information system (MIS), a tool to monitor Water and Sanitation sector performance in terms of access to WASH services.

UNICEF committed its continued contribution to the Water and Sanitation Sector.
